Welcome to Dow Jones's Intelligent Indexing section. This page provides support for customers who wish to use the Dow Jones Intelligent Indexing taxonomy under the terms of a license agreement to help them integrate information from Dow Jones with internal and third-party content.
PLEASE NOTE that the wording of the license agreement has been amended to provide customers with greater clarity and to ensure consistency with other Dow Jones contracts. The main changes are an expanded list of definitions in the preamble, and a clarification of the usage rights relating to the codes in clauses 1.2 and 1.4 to 1.6. The new version of this license has immediate effect.

We are committed to continuous improvements in Dow Jones Intelligent Indexing. Code lists are under regular review and news of planned additions and modifications is posted to this Web site. It is your responsibility to check the Web site to verify whether any notifications of modifications or updates have been posted.
The codes for sources from information providers in Factiva.com can be found using the Dow Jones Factiva Sources search facility.
The search syntax or query field to be used is described in the user documentation for each Dow Jones Factiva service.
Dow Jones Company Codes Feed
Dow Jones Factiva’s extensive universe of over 300,000 listed and unlisted company codes is available in XML format as a paid service under a separate license agreement. Subscribers are able to derive extensive value from this service through a range of information integration activities, broadly connected with applying the Dow Jones Factiva taxonomy to internal corporate data and third party information and or/mapping and linking that information to Dow Jones Factiva data.
