Organizations are investing more money than ever before in systems and content to equip employees with excellent decision support information. Well-designed training programs will help users get up to speed with using these resources quickly and efficiently, and thus help companies maximize their investment in these tools. This situation creates another venue for Info Pros to leverage their experience and expertise to support departmental or enterprise training initiatives for desktop resources, including Internet use. Involvement in creating training programs for more effective use of information services and products showcases the information selection, retrieval, analysis, and use skills of Info Pros. Involvement in developing these training programs also offers the opportunity to build or increase skills in creating courseware, giving presentations, and program management.
